Ok, Moms and Dads out there that are too busy to spend an hour in the kitchen to make a homemade meal each day, this one is for you! This easy pot roast is one you can start in the morning or on your lunch break, and it will be ready for dinner! It’s literally set it and forget it!
What you’ll need:
- Large crock pot
- Chuck roast, rump roast, any cut will work
- 4 medium russet potatoes
- 4 carrots
- 1 package of Lipton onion soup
- 4 cups of beef broth
- 2 Tablespoons minced garlic
Step by step:
Chop up the carrots and peel and chop the potatoes. Place roast in crockpot. Add chopped vegetables. Add Lipton onion soup, salt, pepper and garlic.
Pour in the 4 cups of beef broth and cover. Cook for 8 hours on low or 6 hours on high. The roast will be pull apart tender when it’s done!
