Want perfectly tender corn on the cob with a kick? Want something you can put in a crockpot and forget about it? If your answer is YES, this recipe is for you.

My husband loves corn in any form. It’s one of the few vegetables he will eat. I have many ways of preparing corn, but this is a tried and true favorite. There are never any leftovers. I hope you enjoy it!

Kickin’ Corn on the Cob

What you’ll need:

  • A crockpot
  • 8 ears of corn
  • 1 stick of butter
  • 2 Tablespoons of Cajun seasoning
  • 5 jalapeños
  • Salt
  • Pepper

How to prepare it:

Break cobs up so they fit in the crockpot easier. Put them in the crockpot.

Slice up stick of butter. Chop jalapeños (you can remove seeds if you are sensitive to heat). Throw butter and jalapeños on top of corn.

Add seasonings to corn. Turn on crockpot to high and cook for 2 1/2 to 3 hours or on low you could leave them in there for 5 hours if you need to leave them and go to work.

Once butter is melted, get tongs and give the corn a good toss so every cob gets some butter and seasoning.

Done ✅ Enjoy!
